2 tablespoons of chia seeds contain 5 times more calcium than milk and three times more iron!
3 tbsp chia seeds
125ml whole milk or plant based alternative
1 tsp agave nectar (or you can use vanilla essence, honey*, fruit syrup)
Add all of your ingredients above to a Pyrex jug and stir well.
Pour into small jars or ramekins and cover and leave to set for at least an hour in the fridge. If you don’t have anything small you can make this in an airtight container and serve in a bowl, serve with yoghurt and fresh fruit.
Note – Suitable from 6 months, puree the fruit for younger babies, no honey for under 1s.
